Before you jump be sure it is truely a Remington-Rand pistol, and not a R-R slide on some other contractor's frame. It is critically important to check the serial number against a list of numbers assigned to R-R, and also look for the inspector's mark 'F.J.A.' Have apparently a WWII 1911a1.45 ACP pistol. Serial #2089197. Slide is a Remington Rand, serial number shows Ithaca made the chassis, barrel says Colt 45. Was told that in the war these parts were ea read more.
